Our Story

Manna Harvesters International Ltd (MHI) was established in 2013 and formally registered and incorporated in July that year as a company limited by shares with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau. The center is the result of informal discussions between Joseph William Mayer (Bill), Beth Kyarayende, and Susan Nalwera Rebecca that started in 2013.

Based in Kayunga Baale, Uganda, MHI directly employs about a dozen staff and works with a growing network of external farmers and researchers. Our strategic location allows us to serve communities across East Africa while maintaining strong roots in Uganda's agricultural sector.

Over the years, we have expanded our reach beyond Uganda to other East African cities, always maintaining our commitment to excellence in agriculture and our goal to make farming a more effective platform for poverty alleviation and community development.
